Finally moved

sunglow999Well, in the end we had to move out of our home or risk losing the sale. The bank selling the house were were buying put everything on hold so we put the cats in the cattery, our household belongings in storage and we went to stay with my Mum for what we hoped would be a couple of weeks. It turned out to be seven and a half in the end. It was only through the efforts of the estate agent and the management company convincing the bank that they would get no higher offers and that the property was deteriorating that they finally agreed to exchange.
We moved in last week and spent days just sorting out the previous owners belongings. The kitchen cupboards had been emptied into bags and the food had attracted mice, so we've been setting traps. So far one dead and three live that hubby released - nothing since, so either they've got smart and are avoiding them or we've got them all.
